STS´ PRESENTATIONS

It is important to share our experiences and inform each other about the activities that have been done between the meetings. That is why Tuesday afternoon (17/4/2018) was devoted to the students´ presentations of their work.

The Romanian students presented the Barnova Forest next to Iasi. The Italian students presented the Po Valley. The English students´ presentation was about the life cycle of frogs in a small lake situated  in the school premises.

The Czech students had three presentations. First they presented their observations and findings related to the topic of mushrooms. Tom D. then explained about his citizen science project concerning the Mushrooms observed in the Woods around the village of Sloupnice.

The third presentation was about the Biodiversity along the Bike Path between the towns of Vysoké Mýto and Choceň.

The project about Biodiversity along the Bike Path between Vysoké Mýto and Choceň is not only an example of the "place-based teaching" but also a citizen science project on www.inaturalist.org.
