PROGRAMME

On 5 May - 11 May 2019, a group of students from the second and third years went to the final meeting of the project "Plugging into Nature with New Technologies" of the Erasmus + KA2 program, which was held in Turin, Italy this time.

In the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites surrounding this center of Piedmont and the venue of the 2006 Winter Olympics, which has given the city a new and modern face, we visited not only several museums and major historical sites, but also went to visit a nearby nature reserve where sand mining continues and a large number of plants and organisms that we have documented and recorded on the international biological portal iNaturalist.

Our hosts were students of the local chemistry high school, who have prepared many experiments for us, such as the conversion of copper cents to gold, the formation of slime, etc. The main point of the program, however, were presentations where individual teams of students from Spain, Romania, Britain, Italy and especially from our grammar school, we gradually introduced their work to the project that we prepared during the year.

Despite the frequent and typical Italian tardiness and improvisation in the program, we have to say that we enjoyed mobility very much, we gained new experience, we improved our English language and especially we got to know the nature around us. Perhaps we will appreciate it now.
