Getting to know each other and socializing was an important part of the project meeting in Vysoké Mýto.

On Tuesday 17/ 4/ 2018 after the welcome of the headteacher Mgr. Blanka Kysilková in the school auditorium, all the guests were shown around the school. Probably the most admired classroom was the biology lab.

After that the teachers and the students had a different programme. The students gathered in one of the school sports halls where they did a lot of team-building activities that had been prepared by the  Czech students. They had a lot of fun and got to know each others´ names.

After that all the students and accompanying teachers set out into the town centre to take part in a treasure hunt that combined sightseeing, BioBlitz, Snapshot Hunt and a practical lesson of the Czech language. On several stations there were pairs of students introducing the particular sights and places of interest and besides that the competing mixed international teams had to accomplish a series of tasks including some shopping in the Czech language which was a quite a challenge for most of the foreign guests. Many of the tasks were really entertaining and the students had to show their team-play and creativity. They did a great job and had a lot of fun too.

On Friday morning (20/ 4/ 2018) all the participating students were busy in the chemistry and biology labs working on the tasks prepared for them by the Czech team. They carried out experiments and completed protocols.

One of the Friday´s highlights was meeting the vicemayor Ing. Martin Krejza in the Town Hall of Vysoké Mýto who gave all the participants the attendance certificates.

At the end of the whole meeting (on Friday afternoon) , as "a piece de resistance" and a treat there was kart racing in the Vysoké Mýto Autodrom (slot racing). And then there was the evening, the final common dinner and time to say good-bye to each other.
